Prepare for the shoot
If you don’t bring it, we can’t shoot it! We will chat in advance on how best to prepare for your shoot so that you look great on the day.
Take your pictures
Once you arrive we'll go through all your clothing options to see what works best and then we’ll start shooting.
Select your favourites
I will send you a link to an online gallery where you can choose your favourite images.

Hi, I’m Sean!
My approach to photography is very much less is more. My goal is to capture your essence and make images that are real and as natural as possible.
I am also on the casting circuit for TV commercials and so I understand what casting directors and clients are looking for in a headshot.
In my previous life I was a banker in London and Joburg, and a rugby commentator on Radio 2000. In headshot and portrait photography I have found my passion!

How do I prepare for my session?
Make sure you get plenty of sleep and stay well hydrated in the days leading up to the session, avoiding any foods that may cause allergies. Don't drink too much the night before and in the summer months stay out of the sun as burnt skin does not photograph well.
Do I need a make-up artist?
I love the natural look so I am more than happy for you to do your own make-up, but please keep it light and natural. Make-up that is too thick and heavy doesn't read well on camera. If you would like a more polished look I have worked with a number of excellent make-up artists that I can recommend.
What should I wear?
Bring your favourite top or dress, something you feel great in and fits you well, as well as a black and white or grey tops. Plain solid colours work very well. Also bring coloured items that go well with your skin tone or match your eyes. Avoid stripes, bold prints or very bright colours. If you're not sure bring lots of options in a variety of styles, colours and necklines.
What should I do with my hair?
We ask that you come hair ready, and the MUA will fine tune your hair to compliment the make up. We may vary your hair during the shoot. Gents, if you want to have a hair cut before the shoot, I suggest doing so 5 - 7 days in advance to give your hair time to settle.
Where do you shoot?
For all individual sessions I shoot out of my home studio Kenilworth. If you are needing group headshots at your offices, I am more than happy to come to you and set up a mobile studio.
How long will it take to get my images?
I will set up on an online gallery for you to make your selections within a day or two of the shoot. Once you have made your selections I deliver the final images within 10 days via WeTransfer. If you need your images sooner, let me know and I will do everything possible to get you your images in time.
